MILWAUKEE, WI – A woman was hospitalized with severe injuries after her vehicle crashed into a railroad bridge in northern Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon, according to FOX 6 News.
The crash happened near the intersection of W Mill Road and N 60th Street at around 12 p.m., when a 58-year-old woman from Milwaukee ran off the side of the road. Her vehicle crossed over the lanes of oncoming traffic before crashing into a railroad bridge. The car then overturned.
The victim, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was ejected during the collision. She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening wounds.
Authorities continue to investigate at this time.
