Narrative
WAUKESHA, WI – A teenage girl died Monday in a 4-vehicle crash caused by a drunk driver on the southeast side of Waukesha.
The accident happened around 7 p.m. at East Sunset Drive and Guthrie Drive, which is east of Pari Park and northwest of Minooka Park Pond.
Police say that a 19-year-old driver was intoxicated when they ran the stop sign at the intersection, causing the accident.
One of the drivers, identified as Megan Voss, died after being airlifted to an area hospital.
An unknown number of additional people sustained injuries in the accident, as did a dog from Voss’s car.
Officials arrested the driver that caused the crash on charges that include homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
