Narrative
TURTLE LAKE, WI – A 92-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man died in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday along the highway near the Joel Marsh Wildlife Area.
The incident happened around 5:46 p.m. in the area of US-8 and 33rd Street, which is west of Gaylord Nelson Highway in southeast Polk County.
Police have not shared any details about the accident except to say that one passenger died in the crash, as did the driver of an SUV. Authorities identified these victims as Martha Leora Mclean and Lamont Lynn Kelly.
Medics transported three additional people to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
