MILWAUKEE, WI – A 55-year-old died, and an 11-year-old went to the hospital Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash at a busy Milwaukee intersection.
The incident happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Sherman Boulevard and Villard Avenue, which is just southeast of McGovern Park.
The investigation indicates that an inattentive driver neglected to stop for a red light at the intersection and struck another vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their name.
Medics transported a juvenile passenger to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
