Narrative
MILWAUKEE, WI – A 29-year-old driver died Wednesday night in a two-vehicle collision in downtown Milwaukee.
The incident happened just after 11 p.m. near the intersection of North 11th Street and West Wisconsin Avenue, which is just west of I-43 and south of Aurora Sinai Medical Center.
Police say that a speeding driver struck the victim’s vehicle near the intersection. The force of the collision threw the victim from their vehicle, and they sustained fatal injuries.
Authorities arrested the 23-year-old speeding driver who caused the wreck after taking them to the hospital. Charges have not yet been announced.
