Narrative

IOWA CO., WI – A 67-year-old man died Thursday after losing control of his snowmobile along Military Ridge Trail in central Iowa County.

The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. between County Highways BB and YZ in the Dodgeville area.

Police say the man was thrown from the snow mobile while headed eastbound on Military Ridge Trail. He ultimately died from injuries sustained in the accident.

Authorities identified the victim as Richard Koch.

A full investigation is underway.
