Narrative
MENONOMIE, WI – A 57-year-old man died last Sunday in a head-on collision along the highway in Menonomie.
The incident happened around 12:59 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 25 near Northline Road, which is just north of Airtec Sports Menonomie.
Police say that the driver of a southbound Ford F-150 truck entered the northbound lanes and crashed head-on with another driver.
The driver of the second vehicle, identified as Tony Swanson, died at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the Ford, identified as Barbara McLennan, went to the hospital with on life-threatening injuries.
