The crash happened near the intersection of Nancy Street and Main Street (Highway 96) on Wednesday as an employee with the Wrightstown Department of Public Works (DPW) was chipping brush in the Village area. The driver slowed down to turn when their vehicle was struck from behind by the driver of an SUV.
The employee, who was not immediately identified, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The striking driver received a citation for inattentive driving.
