Boy, 4, dead after getting hit by car in Beloit’s sports complex

ROCK COUNTY, WI – A four-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries and died after getting hit by a car in Beloit Saturday. 

The collision occurred before 9:45 am at the 3300 block of Prairie Avenue, CI Proud reported. 

The driver was not impaired and did not speed. Police claimed the driver did not see the child walking in the parking lot of the sports complex. 

The boy was transported to a hospital where he died.
