Narrative
MILWAUKEE, WI – One person died, and another person was arrested Tuesday when a police chase ended in a two-vehicle crash in Milwaukee.
The accident happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. on the lower east side at the intersection of North Humboldt Avenue and West Brady Street, which is just west of Lake Park and east of the Milwaukee River.
Police say that a driver fled an attempted stop, ultimately crashing into a second vehicle.
The adult driver of the second vehicle died after transport to an area hospital. Authorities have not yet released their name to the public.
Medics transported both a passenger from the second vehicle and the suspect that caused the crash to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
The 22-year-old driver that caused the crash was arrested, but charges have not yet been announced.
