MADISON, WI – A car versus semi-truck collision on I-90 in Madison claimed a person’s life Sunday, NBC 15 said.
The semi-truck was traveling north on the interstate and collided with a sedan.
The semi-truck managed to travel off course and drive through a cement median barrier. The impact of the collision made the truck overturn.
The sedan driver, a 59-year-old person, succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi-truck driver was self-extracted and was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Several vehicles were damaged due to the debris on the interstate.
The collision is under investigation.
